Curt joined with hundreds of volunteers to paint Black Lives Matter on Main Street in Burlington. “I am proud to have this reminder every time I walk past it right in the middle of my district.”

Curt was elected to his current seat (representing Burlington’s Old North End and Downtown) in 2012, after serving Rutland City in the House of Representatives from 1983-1996.

Curt is

  • the vice-chair of the House Committee on Energy and Technology,
  • a member of the Joint Energy Committee,
  • Co-Chair of the National Conference of State Legislatures’ Committee on Natural Resources and Infrastructure,
  • and a member of the NCSL’s Energy Supply Task Force.
